I got this chair to replace one from the same manufacturer I’d had maybe 7 years, and the padding was pretty much non-existent because I spent 10+ hours a day in it working from home. I really liked the chair I had as far as size, functions and quality, but it doesn’t seem they make it with a mesh fabric anymore. As another reviewer noted, this chair is slightly smaller both in width and back height, but it’s certainly big enough for the average person. The instructions were clear and easy to follow, and it took less than 30 minutes to fully assemble. The chair rolls, swivels and reclines smoothly and the more I sit, the more comfortable the seat gets – it was pretty firm to start. The faux leather is soft to the touch and looks nice. I could have spent 2 or 3 times more on a similar chair, but, as good as this one is, I don’t think I would have noticed a significant difference.

I was a little worried about buying this due to the negative reviews but realized they were all mostly around assembly. If you "loose" fit all the bolts and use your fingers to get them started, there is absolutely no issues putting this together (if you can't get them started by hand then you've cross threaded them so stop and attempt again). It took me about 10 minutes total. There we some complaints about the back being too hard but I didn't experience this and found it comfortable. I'm using a mesh lumbar support anyway to ensure I keep good posture as well as keep good airflow around my back. My biggest plus on this is the low profile of the armrest and that I can put myself at the correct height and the armrests will slide under my desk. For those wonder at the lowest seat level the height from the ground to top of the armrest is 26.5" and at the highest seat level, 30". Seat is very comfortable as well. Good job on this one Amazon!

I was looking for a basic, no frills office chair at a decent price. This one was exactly what I wanted and expected. I got it in the brown color. The shipping was very prompt, the chair was in new condition, and assembly took about 15 minutes with two people experienced with tools. This is also fairly lightweight as far as carrying it up a flight of steps once it is assembled. I have vinyl flooring, and the wheels roll easily without leaving marks of any kind. It's comfortable to sit in. I am 5'4" and use the lowest height setting so that my feet are flat on the floor. I am using it at my desk in my home office where I do a lot of typing. The chair does not recline, but I did not need it for that. The seat is firm and has a good thickness. Very comfortable.

Pros: Arrived a day early. Instructions are pictures, but clear and easy to understand. Decent price. Nice, soft material that's easy to clean. Lightweight and rolls easily. I'm 5'6" and it fits great in the seat, armrests and height. Top of the backrest comes just to the top of my shoulder. Good back support. Good cushioning in the seat and back with a bit of lumbar support.

Cons: not much of a tilt feature and it doesn't lock the tilt. The seat slopes down a bit too much for me, so my knees are a bit lower than I'd like. There was a slight mark on the back support, like some glue had been wiped off during manufacturing. Assembly was fine except for screwing the armrests to the seat and back. I have a wounded and weak right hand so eventually I needed help to hold tension on the parts long enough to screw the bolts into the holes. Took almost an hour, would have been much longer by myself. Really hard to see the pilot holes to get those 8 bolts in (the others were fine).
