    I've had a pair of Cadenzas for about a month now and those are fantastic, especially for the price.
    These Fortezas are, in my opinion, also fantastic but a bit of a different beast.

    Where the Cadenzas have a pretty nice even sound across all frequencies with a slight bump in the lows and highs, the Fortezas have a slightly greater boost in the lows, mids are scooped more, and a lot more highs.

    When I say a lot I do mean a lot. Other reviewers have described it as harsh, and I don't think thats entirely unreasonable. The sibilance of cymbals, brass, and raspy high voices really stands out more than any other headphone I've sat with. But so does every minute detail in every song. I'm hearing things I didn't previously know were there in the recording. Where I usually have to add a lot more highs when I EQ other headphones to achieve sufficient clarity, sometimes a little more bass too for more punch, the Fortezas have that more exciting sounding V-curve built in. If anything they could have left a tiny bit more mids in place. Sound is subjective though and while I like energetic highs and don't personally think these are harsh (or in the very least I got used to it quickly), you may not and might think they do.

    That aside, other more objective pros of the Fortezas compared to the Cadenzas include: the Fortezas come with a sturdy zipper case, longer cable, and they look way better. Finally, size-wise they look like they'd be bigger than the Cadenzas from the photos but I was surprised to discover they are almost exactly the same size albeit deeper. Plus the molded housings stay in your ears much more security and are quite comfortable for longer listening sessions.

    Overall, you really can't go wrong with either IEM but I do think the Fortezas are a worthy upgrade if you can spend a little more.

    This is my first set of IEMs, I have been using headphones and bluetooth earbuds until now, which mostly use dynamic drivers and I "thought" these were pretty good already. In the beginning, I was actually drawn to the nice acrylic design of these Linsoul Kiwis and interested to see what IEMs were all about. But having tried them in, I am very impressed with the quality of sound it provides compared with my old audio gear that are brand name and fairly expensive too; it has changed my perception of good sound quality. The BA drivers do make a difference. The sound is more alive, fuller, warmer, like you're there; not as flat and impersonal. Good balance on bass response and high frequency sounds, this is a decent hybrid 1BA:2DD depending on what sounds you like to hear.

    These earbuds come nicely presented in a black KiwiEars box, there is a set of earbuds, a 2 pin audio cable, 3 sets of silicone bud tips (S/M/L in 3 colors), a storage box and a small manual. There is only one correct way to put in the cable via the 2 pins as they are supposed to wrap around the ear. They are comfortable, especially when compared with headphones - which have fairly good sound as well, but I cannot wear them for long because my ears get hot and uncomfortable after an hour or so. These are quality made and seems like they're built to last.

    I use this in a live band setting. I play an e kit live and use them as IEMs.

    Highly reccomend for any live musician.

    Excellent quality with the ear phones and wire.

    I use them for around 2 hours a night and find very comfortable

    Can't get better value for money.
    My guitarist brought a similar more expensive pair of amazon, but these top them!
