Nearly everyone should have a basic understanding of the principles contained in this book. Although it is seen as a therapy, in fact it is mostly common sense. Understanding that our feelings and emotions are linked with our thoughts is liberating as it allows seemingly "real" feelings to be challenged and improved. This book won't lead to your eternal happiness (jw.org might help more with that) but it could help many people find a clear path out of an emotional prison.
