Exactly what I needed to help me during my pregnancy in France
le 27 août 2013
I became pregnant in France a few months after my French husband and I moved there. It was incredibly helpful to have this book to help me navigate what I needed to do during those nine months, since my husband had no clue either. The vocabulary and exercises were very useful too. The one thing I would like to see in this book is the addition of what women should do if they do not yet have their carte vitale, since I didn't obtain mine until my seventh month of pregnancy, and had to pay all the medical bills up front. I had to send in feuille de soins once I received my social security number and carte vitale and only then could I be reimbursed. The author fortunately had been living in France awhile and already had a carte vitale and mutuelle. Overall a great book and I highly recommend it to any English speakers who will be going through pregnancy in France.
