We are aware of the demograhic changes that will soon bring the fraction of over-60s in the population to over 30% and we are also aware of the prejudices against this aging population, but how do the elderly live their aging process?
This is a remarkable book in that it explores the lives and thought processes of the elderly with respect to their situation, via the writing of our finest minds. We discover much that is constructivee about desire, spirituality, fear of death, generational and gender conflicts in this aging population, of which I am a part.
A real voyage of discovery!
