Caroline MacDonald worries that life is passing her by.
With a dead-end job at the Inland Revenue, a stalkery ex-boyfriend, the younger sister from Hell, and the Big Three-O rapidly approaching, Caroline doesn't have too much to smile about... until the offer of a free holiday in a beautiful villa in Biarritz comes along. But is the offer too good to be true?
'Biarritz Passion' is a slow-burner love story with believable, very human - and sometimes flawed - characters. Acquitaine comes to life with Ms. Long's vivid descriptions of its people and culture. It is an artfully-structured tale which will appeal to the romantic reader.
A five-star beach companion.

An interesting story set in the south-west of France, a place that I know. The characters are interesting, except perhaps Annabel, the heroin's sister, who is really impossible, and about whom the end is quite surprising.
Pleasant to read anyway.
