A surprise around every corner. The line between the 'goodies' and 'baddies' was constantly blurring and changing as motivations were revealed and consequences suffered. Much more enthralling than the second book in the series, I really enjoyed this final chapter of the saga. The whole trilogy raises pertinent questions about our origins and the wisdom of our technological society's choices and possible self destruction. I liked the nod to many sci-fi references ike the Borg and their conquest by assimilation, Stargate's wormhole travel and other classics. Thanks to the author for an imaginative and gripping read!

After having loved the previous 2 novels in this trilogy, I couldn't wait to read book 3. I was, however, massively let down by it. I felt that we lost touch with the main characters we had grown attached to in books 1 & 2 and that we learned of their fates almost as an afterthought. Highly frustrating and disappointing.
